I planned on keeping Josefina's original braid in forever. But about 4 months later, with minimal "play" there were whispy hairs starting to work loose. I too don't like a hair out of place so I took the braid out and put it back in again using the same sections of hair that AG used. Back then I didn't know about misting the hair so it took a heap of patience to make each bundle of hair do exactly what I wanted. Since buying the AG hair kit, I always use the mist bottle and it works perfect.

I don't keep Josefina's hair in a braid as much anymore. I guess I started to really experiment with hair after seeing my dd's Kaya in different hair styles. Kaya has the perfect hair for doing different hair styles because it is so long. Without the water mist, however, my doll's hairstyles would be a hopeless mess.
